All projects executed under the Capital Budget as well as some executed under the Operational Budget of the Engineering Services Department are planned, designed, supervised and controlled by this section. These include township development, provision of new infrastructure to provide services, major maintenance on existing infrastructure and upgrading/extension of existing infrastructure.

Develops and Administers the Town Planning Scheme for the town |

Develops and administers effective and efficient Building Control measurements. |

Resource management staff development and Administration. |

Manages the department to provide, maintain and extend essential services. |

Financial management |

Vice Chairperson of the Local Tender Board with responsibilities as set out in the legislation. |

deals with the day to day running of the Town Engineering
Department to ensure that essential services are provided
to the public and maintained.
